Presenting Sign Seeker

About

With a background in illustration, design, signwriting and night-time museum security, my near-boundless eye for creative design thinking can bring colour and life in just about any situation.

From the sketchbook to After Effects, my discipline in branding, illustration and motion design, enables me to craft effective and impactful brand identities. I thrive in collaborative spaces where I can bounce ideas, provide design solutions and push creative boundaries. From national leading agencies to local retail outlets, I have the ability to inject creativity and life into your workplace as a junior designer.

SIGN SEEKER

Sign Seeker is a mobile game designed to raise awareness of "Ghost Signs," vintage hand-painted advertisements that have faded over time. Over the duration of my fieldwork and research, it was apparent that only 16% of this heritage art is being preserved. This leaves at least 96 signs that I have documented at risk of disappearing. Sign Seeker allows users to digitally interact with these signs and bring important parts of Australian heritage back to life in a creative way.

Sign Seeker is primarily an app prototype; however, the Sign Seeker package also features two campaigns, social media and billboard advertisement, and a promotional show reel.

Western Sydney University acknowledges the peoples of the Darug, Tharawal, Eora and Wiradjuri nations. We also acknowledge that the teaching and learning currently delivered across our campuses is a continuance of the teaching and learning that has occurred on these lands for tens of thousands of years.
